Tiny Terminal – Wiring the HD44780 LCD driver chip to the MSP430

[H]ive76, a Philadelphia HackerSpace unit had alot of LCDs lying around. Since these LCDs were based on the popular HD44780 driver chip and there was already an Arduino “LiquidCrystal” library for it, they had to do a little work to get it working on the Launchpad. Looks like Port 1 is used for controlling the LCD in 4-bit mode.
