Chibiace, from the Forums found a good fitting ZIF socket for his Launchpad. A ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) socket helps if you have to continuously insert and remove your MSP430, to reduce wear on the chip pins. There seemed to be alot of problems when soldering ZIF TEXTOOL clones to the Launchpad as is apparent in this thread.
He uses a 3M TEXTOOL ZIF socket for his 14 pin MSP430G2211. Part numbers are:

220-3342-00-0602J: 20 pin ZIF
