MarkoeZ, a long time member of the Forums has been hard at work setting up his Pandora to communicate to a MSP430. The cars steering, drive and lights are all controllable through the GUI. A custom shift register board was made control LEDs. The car is serially connected to the Pandora console through a FTDI translator chip.
A Porsche Model Car with an MSP430G2252, movement, speed and (just for fun) shiftregister LEDs controlled over usb Serial by a Pandora Console. With custom written Gui, And Touchscreen, D-Pad and ActionButton drive/program select.
All schematics and code are available in his Forum thread. He plans to make it wireless in the near future and is debating on a bluetooth radio chip.
