When we wrote about the new Wolverine Development Kit a few months back in February, there was not any information about it. In the attached video, Bill Wong of Electronic Design magazine talks with Jacob Borgeson of Texas Instruments about the Wolverine, the world’s lowest power micro-controller platform.
Another teaser! Would love to get more in-depth information about this dev kit. I’ve got a couple of designs waiting on the release of the MSP430 FRAM parts – Mouser still shows the delivery date as May 30. The display on the teaser appears to be a Sharp MemoryLCD (Sharp LS013B4DN02 by the looks of it) which is an extremely nice low-power display. BTW, if you want to get your hands on a FRAM part to experiment with, the MSP-EXP430FR5739 kit is available now and will be immediately familiar to anyone with experience with the LaunchPad or other MSP430 kits.
